Everyone as seen godrays/lightrays in game and how great they look, here is a technique to add then to Windows
- Create a brush caulk that fits in the window hole
- Modify the shape by pressing ¨E¨ while selecting the brush
- Select the external faces with control+Shift left click and go to texture menu and give it Faces to terrain
- Delete the brush leaving the faces and applying them the godray texture ch_godray.
- With the Faces to Terrain the textures shows up at both sides
You can also give it this shape to the initial brush if you want the rays to hit the floor or extend it a bit
Hope it helps!
