==Manually back up your Profile==

*As we all rank up we will need to backup our player profiles
*If you have never had to start over ....you have been lucky
*Below are instructions for saving player profile:

===Windows Vista===

Open the games browser (start -> games)
Right click on the entry for Call of Duty - World at War and select saved games
Backup the players folder

Or if the game is not in your games launcher or you cannot locate the games launcher do the following:

Select Control Panel
Double-click on the Folder options
Select the View tab
Select the option to view hidden files and folders

*Next browse to the data you wish to backup

*Click "My Computer". At the top of this window click "Tools" then "Folder Options".
*Click the "View" tab, then "Files and Folders" then "Hidden files and folders".
*Now check the one marked "Show hidden files and folders".
*Now Click "Apply" then "Okay" at the bottom of this window.

*Next browse to the data you wish to backup
*Go to My Computer then in :

c:\Documents and Settings\<your Windows username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\

*Backup the Players folder and servercache.dat file to a safe location
